Operation Vegetation project planted 1200 native wood and nut trees to restore watersheds and reduce erosion
85,000 square metres of reef saved
Crown Of Thorns control project collected 8,511 coral-eating starfish together with 11 local tourism businesses and local and international volunteers
56 community members trained in tree planting
Composting techniques, water harvesting and fruit tree grafting techniques were also taught to local farmers
18 women trained in sustainable agriculture
Farmers in 2 villages have been taught in permaculture techniques through accessible-for-all practical farm demonstrations
397 mangroves planted
A large area of destroyed mangroves was replanted in Teluk Kilat area by volunteers and local villagers
