Volunteering and Internships
in
Togean Islands
Your passion
is
our passion

The Togean Islands are famous for their coral reefs, ethnic tribes, traditional villages, and iconic species, some of which are found nowhere else on earth. They truly are one of the few wild places left. This is what we aim to preserve and protect. You are warmly invited to join us in this mission.
While volunteering with us in these remote tropical islands, you will not only give back the planet but also become connected with nature, absorb local culture, make new friends, explore villages and visit amazing places while enjoying all aspects of island life.
Conservation volunteering is a fantastic learning experience and a move to help the world become a cleaner, safer, and more hopeful place. For volunteers with a passion for conservation, wildlife and culture, Togean Conservation Foundation offers a wide range of activities to suit all levels of skills and abilities, all of which help to preserve the critical ecosystems in Togean Islands National Park and surrounding islands.
We are currently in the process of setting up a base, Wild Togean Centre, which will function as our office, community conservation hub, training facility and accommodation for volunteers. Most of our on site volunteer positions currently centre around establishment of this building. Once it is fully functioning, we hope to be able to offer a more varied range of on-site positions.
